This Privacy Policy describes how Peptide Stack OS ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App.

## 1. Information We Collect
The App collects only the minimum information needed to provide its core functionality.
### Information you provide directly
- **Account information** (optional): if you choose to upgrade from an anonymous account, the email address used to create and access your account.
- **Health and protocol content**: peptide selections, dosage, frequency, route, reminder times, dose logs, side-effect logs, daily check-ins, weight entries, weekly result snapshots, and any free-text notes you save while using the App.
- **Profile preferences**: name (optional), gender, primary goal, theme customization, units, and similar settings.
### Information collected automatically
- **Anonymous device identifier**: a randomly generated identifier created on first launch and stored on your device. Used to associate your data with your installation. Not linked to your identity, not shared with third parties for advertising.
- **Crash and performance data**: when the App crashes or encounters an error, we collect anonymized technical details (device model, OS version, stack trace) via Sentry to diagnose and fix the issue. No personal content is included.
### Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it.
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature (e.g. attaching a progress photo to a weekly result entry).
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

## 2. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Sync your data across your devices
- Diagnose and fix bugs and crashes
- Process subscription payments, if you purchase one (handled by Apple's App Store — we do not see your payment details)

## 3. How Information Is Stored
- **On-device data** is stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain).
- **Cloud-synced data** is stored on Convex (https://convex.dev), a managed database service. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
- **Crash reports** are stored by Sentry (https://sentry.io).

## 4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Convex, Sentry) strictly for the purposes described, and only the minimum data each service needs.
We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., subpoena, court order) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

## 5. Your Rights
You can:
- **Access your data**: visible in the App; contact us for an export.
- **Delete your data**: use the "Delete my account" option in the App's Settings screen, which permanently deletes all data associated with your account from our systems — peptide stacks, dose logs, side-effect logs, daily check-ins, weight entries, photos, and account record.

If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, port, and delete your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

## 6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact steve@stevetheappguy.com and we will delete it.
